Day 01: Arrival in Guwahati (-/-/D)
Upon arrival at the airport of Guwahati from Kolkata you will be welcomed by our staff and escorted to the hotel. Guwahati, located on the river Brahmaputra, is the center of the entire region. Dispur, the capital of Assam, is a part of Guwahati. After a short break, explore the Kamakhya temple that dominates life in Guwahati, as does the great river Brahmaputra. The temple is an ancient seat of tantric and Shakti cults of Hinduism. You will also visit Shankerdeva Kalashetra, a multi-arts complex. There you experience the sound and light program on the history of the region. Enjoy a cozy dinner at the hotel later. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Guwahati – Shillong (B/L/D)
Today, the journey leads you to a hearty breakfast and to Shillong in Meghalaya – “the Land of the Clouds”. The road goes through the Nilachal hills of Assam. On the way, visit the Umiam Lake. Enjoy the beautiful green, pristine nature in all its nuances. On arrival at Shillong, you check into the hotel. Later in the afternoon, visit the Museum DBCIC and familiarize yourself with the culture of the people living here. You then walk over and catch first views of daily life at the local market. Then you can have dinner at the hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Note:The museum DBCIC is closed on Sunday.

Day 03: Shillong – Cherrapunji – Shillong (B/L/D)
We invite you today to a one-day trip to Chirrapunji, one of the ultimate eco-friendly destinations, famous around the world for receiving the highest rainfall in the world. The spectacular view of deep gorges and over the rolling hills, tropical vegetation, will inspire you. There is an incredible variety of ferns, mosses and orchids. At Cherrapunji you explore the cave in the jungle located in Mawsmai with its impressive rock formations, the major corridors and chambers. Experience the Nohkalikai a beautiful waterfall where the water falls far down into a ravine, and forms a deep green pond. Visit the waterfall and Nohsngithiang Khoh ramhah, an imposing rock formation in the shape of a giant cone. The town attracts many visitors and is an idyllic place for a picnic. On the way back, visit the Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 04: Shillong- Kaziranga (B/L/D)
After a leisurely breakfast, you will be taken to Kaziranga (7 hrs). This beautiful park is a World Heritage Site, home of more than 75 percent of the stock of the great Indian one-horned rhinoceros and provides a unique habitat for many animals. On arrival, check in at the hotel. The rest of the day is free at your disposal. Enjoy the evening mood in Kaziranga. Dinner and
Overnight at hotel.

Note: The park is open only from 1st November-30th April.

Day 05: Kaziranga -Tezpur (B/L/D)
Today we start very early on an elephant safari. Explore the grasslands with the cane, elephant grass and the tall trees of the evergreen forest at dawn. Everything has numerous waterways, swamps and shallow ponds interspersed. The main wild animals, besides the rhinoceros are, the Asian water buffalo, wild elephant, tiger, leopard, swamp deer, barking deer, Sambar and Hog Deer. More than 400 bird species have been sighted in the park. After an enjoyable breakfast, experience an exciting jeep safari. In the afternoon you will be driven to Tezpur. On arrival, check in at the hotel.

Day 06:Tezpur- Dirang (B/L/D)
The trip now proceeds towards Dirang (6 hours). The town is nestled in the picturesque valley of the river Kameng. At this place the Monpa tribe of Native Americans live with their interesting customs. On the way, visit the Tipi Orchid Centre and a glass house with more than 7,500 orchids.

Day 07: Dirang-Tawang (B/L/D)
Today after breakfast, our travel continue towards Tawang (6 hours) The path leads along the river Dirang first and then you start climbing to reach the lofty heights of the pass by Sela. Enjoy the breathtaking views along the way. You will encounter a small lake called Lake Paradise and the Sela Temple. Sela goes downhill from here, across the river Tawangchu. On the way visit Jaswantgarh Nuranang and you see the waterfall. Then a hearty dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 08: Tawang (B/L/D)
After a hearty breakfast we will load it for a full day visit to Tawang. The magnificent mountain scenery and the unique place will enchant you. The age-old Tawang monastery with many monks, is the center of Mahayana Buddhism. The walls are reinforced since medieval times, in order to withstand attacks from Bhutan. You’ll also see the Memorial Tawang, Ani Gompa and crafts emporium. Enjoy the special atmosphere in this place. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 09: Tawang – Bomdila (B/L/D)
Today you’ll continue to Bomdila (7 ½ hours). Enjoy on the road again the fascinating beauty of the snowcapped mountains of the Himalayas. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Later in the afternoon, visit the Buddhist monastery of Bomdila. It is a place of culture and is one of the main attractions of the area. Let us take you to the local market in a world of colors and scents. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 10: Bomdila- Nameri (B/L/D)
After a hearty breakfast you are driven into the Nameri National Park (6 hours). It lies on the banks of the river Jia Bhorali on the north side of the Brahmaputra and is a tiger and buffalo country. Check-in at Nameri Eco Camp (tented accommodation). The afternoon is at leisure. Here you can experience nature up close. Dinner and overnight at Eco Camp Nameri.
Note: In the Nameri National Park, elephant and jeep safari are available.

Day 11: Nameri – Guwahati (B/L/D)
Early morning, enjoy a jungle walk in the park. Nameri is famous for its large number of rare forest white-winged ducks and many other interesting birds. Experience some incomparable moments in the morning freshness of the forest. Later come back to camp and enjoy your breakfast. Thus fortified, you can look forward to the river rafting on the Jia Bhorali river. Later in the afternoon, we drive to Guwahati (5 hrs.). On arrival, check in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 12: Departure from Guwahati (B/-/-)
You will be transferred from the hotel to the airport for your onward flight to Kolkata.
