Day 1: ARRIVAL – AMMAN (-/L/D)
Assemble at Bangalore Airport and board flight to Amman. Meeting and assistance by our Jordanian representative.Check in and relax at the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2: AMMAN – PETRA –AMMAN (B/L/D)
After breakfast proceed to Petra(2 h 54 min (238.4 km)) do a day tour to the Red Rose City Petra, upon arrival you will begin an unforgettable trip on horseback till the siq after by foot till you reach the Treasury. The local guide will give a brief history of the city the greatest Tourist attraction in the Middle East.
The Nabateans carved this capital of theirs from the living rock of the surrounding mountains in Petra. Among other monuments for the visitors today are Pharaoh’s Castle, the Triumphal arch, the Amphitheater and Monastery. Evening transfer back to Amman and overnight stay at hotel .
Day 3: MADABA –– ALLENBY BORDER – NAZRETH (B/L/D)
After breakfast and check out at the hotel and transfer to the border Allenby crossing into Israel.
After immigration formalities you will be e visit Cana where Jesus performed his first Miracle, changing water into wine at the wedding feast. Then on to Nazareth, the boyhood town of Jesus and home of Mary and Joseph and visit the Basilica of the Annunciation built over the grotto where Archangel Gabriel appeared to announce that she would bear a son, Jesus. We also stop by Joseph’s works. Night stay at hotel.
Day 4: – SEA OF GALILEE – CAPERNAUM – TABGHA – MOUNT OF BEATITUDES – YARDENIT (B/L/D)
After breakfast do Full day Galilee and Haifa Circuit we drive through the landscapes of Galilee and later for a ride in a replica of a Galilean fishing boat of that time, on the Sea of Galilee and where Jesus calmed the storm and walked on the water. Visit Capernaum – the center Jesus’ ministry after he left Nazareth we stop at Tabgha – the Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes and the expressive Church of the Beatitudes, where Jesus gave the Sermon on the Mount. We make a brief halt at St. Peter’s house, the Church of Primacy of Peter and the place where Jesus bestowed St. Peter with his authority. This is believed to be the place where Jesus dined with his disciples. The flat rock known as Mensa Christ of Chris’s table commemorates this event. After a stop at Yardenit, the traditional baptismal site on the Jordan River.
Afternoon We proceed to Haifa, Israel’s largest port city, built on the slopes of Mount Carmel. Visit the famous Persian Hanging Gardens for a view of the Bahai Shrine. We then make a brief halt at the Elijah cave at Stella Marris
Return to the hotel for dinner.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 5: MUHRAQA – CESAREA –JAFFA – BETHLEHEM (B/L/D)
Today after breakfast and check out at the hotel we leave Galilee transfer to Muhraqa, the place of sacrifice and the site where Prophet Elijah defeated the False Prophets of Ba’al. and continue our way via the city of Caesarea to Jaffa, to see the house of Simon the Tanner, and visit St. Peter Church.
Then transfer to hotel in Bethlehem for dinner and overnight..
Day 6: MT. OF OLIVES – OLD CITY OF JERUSALEM – MT. ZION – JEWISH QUARTER (B/L/D)
We start in the morning by visit the Mt of Olives to the Church of Ascension, which commemorates the assents of Jesus to heaven, the Paternoster church, according to tradition, lye’s the cave where Jesus brought his decuples and spoke to them about the mystery of the end. Then continue to the panoramic view of Jerusalem for and from there, by foot to Dominos Flavit where Jesus wept over eminent destruction of Jerusalem.
The chapels are built in the shape of a tear as a poignant reminder to this event, and then visit the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus prayed while Judah betrayed him to the Romans. Visit the Basilica of agony. We then go to the pools of Beit Hasda, where Jesus held the crippled man. And from there we take the Via Dolorosa (Way of Grief), traditionally accepted as the last route trodden by Jesus. Follow the 14 Stations of the Cross to Golgotha, the place where Jesus was crucified marking significant events along the route. You will see the Pilate’s Judgments Hall, the Chapel of the Flagellation where, according to tradition, the Roman soldiers scourged Jesus and placed a crown of thorns on His head the Ecce Homo Arch. The last 4 Stations of the Cross are inside the Church of the Holy Sepulcher visible from the distance, wish is two silver domes. Also “The Tomb” widely believed to be part of the stone that covered Jesus Tomb. We then visit Mt Zion the cynical, the room for the last supper. We also visit the church of St. Peter Gallicantu the site where Jesus was imprisoned by the High Priest before he was turned over to the Romans and the church of Dormition. In the afternoon, we go through the Jewish Quarter to the Wailing Wall, which is the holiest place for the Jewish religion. Back to your hotel for dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 7: EIN KAREM – YAD VASHEM HOLOCAUST MUSEUM –BETHLEHEM (B/L/D)
Today morning after breakfast we’ll visit Ein Karem – the town of Judah and birthplace of John the Baptist, son of Elizabeth & Zechariah and the Church of Visitation. We continue to Yad Vashem, Israel’s main Holocaust remembrance and education center is situated on the green slopes of Har HaZikaron, (the Mount of Remembrance) in Jerusalem. Divided into nine galleries, the museum relates the stories of the Jewish communities before the Second World War and the series of events beginning from the rise of the Nazis to power, the pursuit of the Jews, their eviction to the ghettos and ending with “the Final Solution” and mass genocide.
Onto Bethlehem, It was here that the angel announced the birth of Jesus to the shepherds of Bethlehem during the reign of King Herod.
Also, here David tended his flocks until he was anointed King of Israel. Visit the Church of Nativity and the Manger Square, view the Shepherds Fields. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 8: JERICHO – QUMRAN – DEAD SEA (B/L/D)
Today after breakfast we drive through the desert of Judean wilderness to the lowest point on the earth Dead Sea, located 400 meters below Sea level. First we’ll visit the ancient city of Jericho, believed to be the oldest city on earth and view from here Mt. Quarantal, where Jesus spent 40 days when Satan tried to tempt him.
It is also the place where Jesus stopped on this way to Jerusalem, on the Eve of the Passover and were Jesus cured the blind man during his stay at Zachaeus house.Then visit Bathany Lazarus Tomb ,Qumran caves, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found.
Make a stop at a private beach at Dead Sea and take the opportunity to float in the salty buoyant water, rich in minerals (towels and swim dress necessary). Return to hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 9: BETHLEHEM – ALLENBY BORDER – MADABA-MT NEBU – AMMAN AIRPORT – DEPARTURE (B/L/-)
After breakfast cross Allenby border .Then visit Madaba and Mount Nebo. The trip north of Petra along the 5,000 years old King’s Highway is one of the most memorable journeys in the Holy Land, passing through a string of ancient sites. The first city along the way from the north is Madaba, “the City of Mosaics” which has been intermittently inhabited for nearly 3,500 years.
The chief attraction in this city is a wonderfully vivid, six-century Byzantine mosaic map showing Jerusalem and other holy sites; there are also literally hundreds of other mosaics scattered throughout Madaba’s churches and homes. Ten minutes to the west Mount Nebo, the memorial of Moses, and the presumed site of the prophet’s death and burial place.
Later you will be transferred to Amman International Airport for your flight to Bangalore by Air. Arrive at Bangalore Airport. We disperse from the airport with everlasting memories of Holy land.
