Description: In this tour, you will be enamored by the ancient beauty of Copenhagen and enjoy the beauty of Odense. You will cruise through the beautiful coastline and board the famous Flam Railways. Be ready to be mesmerized by the capital cities of Oslo and Stockholm.
Day 1- Upon arrival at Copenhagen, you can either unwind or spend time exploring Scandinavia’s liveliest city. In the evening meet up with your Travel Director and other travelling companions at the Welcome Reception. Then embark on an evening drive to get a lovely night-view of Copenhagen.

Day 2- Embark on a tour of the city with your local guide. You will visit the Amalienborg Palace – an elegant quarter featuring 18th century buildings. In Copenhagen’s historic centre, enjoy the 17th century Stock Exchange, the Christiansborg Palace and the Neo-Classical Cathedral. Also take a look at the Little Mermaid – the statue inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s fairytale – sitting on a rock at the harbor. A visit to the Tivoli Gardens is also recommended.

Day 3- Cross the bridge to Funen Island and you arrive at the town of Odense, the birthplace of Hans Christian Andersen. Continue the journey across the Jutland Peninsula en route to Aalborg, a charming town with a 1,000-year old history.

Day 4- On the Norway leg of the tour, sail from Hirsthals across the Skagerrak to the port of Kristiansand in Norway. Drive through scenic fjords and lakes to reach Stavanger, the third largest city in Norway and one of the oldest.

Day 5- Embark on a spectacular journey as you island-hop from Stavanger, cruising through fjords along the beautiful coastline. We later arrive at Bergen and relive the history of this picturesque city through an orientation tour. Visit the 13th century Haakons Hall and the bustling fish market and round off the evening with a Be My Guest dinner of Norwegian specialties.

Day 6- During your free day, venture out and explore Norway’s most naturally beautiful city and also consider an optional excursion to the home of Norwegian composer, Edward Grieg.

Day 7- From Voss ski resort take the famous Flam railway that ascends to nearly 3,000 feet above sea level! Admire the breathtaking views of the mountains and waterfalls and then cross the magnificent waters of Sognefjord to reach your hotel in Leikanger.

Day 8- Undertake a delightful journey through glacier country by following the spectacular Sognefjord. While coming back to Geiranger town, you can enjoy the beautiful views of Geirangerfjord.

Day 9- Spend your free time at Geiranger by relaxing and taking in the fresh mountain air. You could also plan an excursion along the Trolls’ Road and see the Seven Sisters waterfall.

Day 10- A scenic drive from Geiranger brings you to Ottadalen en route to visit the traditional Stave Church at Lom. You then continue the journey through the Gudbrandsdal Valley, which was the inspiration for Ibsen’s ‘Peer Gynt’. We then arrive in Lillehammer, the host of the 1994 Winter Olympics. An evening stroll along the Storgata or a visit to the open-air museum at Maihaugan would be ideal before dinner.

Day 11- Take a look at the unusual Olympic ice rink beside the lake at Hamar. In Oslo, your Local Guide will take you on a sightseeing tour of the medieval fortress of Akershus and the Royal Palace, rounding up with a visit to the Vigeland Sculpture Park. Spend the rest of the day relaxing, shopping for unique souvenirs or perhaps drop in at the Fram Polar Ship Museum and Viking ship museum.

Day 12- Cross the border into Sweden and continue via Karlstad on Lake Vänern. We cross Orebro to the island-ringed capital of Stockholm for the two-night stay in the city.

Day 13- Enjoy the beauty of the city during the local tour. You can view the Medieval Storkyrkan, Riddarholm Church and the Royal Palace. You can also explore the waterside City Hall, the venue for many Nobel Prize banquets. You can also shop in the exclusive showrooms or consider an optional excursion. Spend your last day with your fellow travelers at a Farewell Dinner.

Day 14- Depart from Stockholm to either catch your flight home or move to your next destination.
