Duration: 9 days and 8 nights

Description: Take in the best of South Africa, beginning at the Cape and going all the way down to the Garden Route, Oudtshoorn and Knysna as well as Johannesburg.

Day 1: Arrive in Cape Town. Upon arrival in Cape Town, a representative meets you and takes you to your waiting transfer vehicle. Transfer to your hotel and check in. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Cape Town: Half day City Tour on SIC (Table Mountain ticket not included). Overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Proceed on a Full Day Peninsula tour. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4: Cape Town – Garden Route: After breakfast, meet your local driver/guide and transfer along the beautiful Garden Route to Oudtshoorn known as the Feather Capital, due to its large ostrich feather industry. Arrive in Oudtshoorn in the late afternoon and check into your hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5: Oudtshoorn – Knysna: Visit an Ostrich Show farm this morning and then go underground and marvel at the wondrous Cango Caves. Travel to Knysna and check into your hotel. This evening enjoy a sunset cruise on the Knysna Lagoon offering views of the Heads. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6: Knysna – Sun City: After breakfast this morning, check out and transfer to George Airport, for your onward flight (flight not included). On arrival at Johannesburg Airport, make your way to the Shuttle Bus departure point and board your onward shuttle transfer to Sun City Resort. Overnight at hotel.

Day 7: Sun City
Breakfast at the hotel. Day free to explore the resort or you have an option of viewing the Big 5 at the Pilanesburg National Park, which borders the entertainment complex of Sun City. The park is set on 50,000 hectares of pristine unspoiled natural beauty as it was formed by volcanic eruptions some 1200 million years ago. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 8: Sun City – Johannesburg
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer from Sun City to Johannesburg, the great big beating heart of South Africa. Upon arrival, enjoy Gold Reef city tour including a ride on a sightseeing train, small crafts village and a trip down the Gold Mine, to Level 5 (220m/785 ft below the surface). See 12.5kg gold pour, be entertained by Siyagida African Dancers. Built around an old gold mine, this theme park is a reconstruction of
Johannesburg during the Gold rush Era. Included in this tour is a descent down an old gold mineshaft to learn how gold was extracted in the past, witness molten gold poured and watch an exciting display of tribal dancing. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 9: Depart Johannesburg
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for airport for flight back home or onward destination.
