Description: Although this trip is called “The Tiger Route” there is far more for you to see and discover. The species’ diversity in the national parks will delight you. Watch leopards, the Indian one-horned rhinoceros, gaur, wild elephant, the largest Asian-nilgai antelope, Chinkara gazelle, Barasingha, sambar, wild dogs, jackals, crocodiles, countless species of birds and more. They explore the wilderness by jeep, on the back of an elephant, go for walks in nature and enjoy an unforgettable experience on a bicycle rickshaw driven by an “expert scientist”, as they are called! The exciting city of Delhi, the elegant Jaipur, many magnificent temples and of course the unforgettable Taj Mahal round off the experience.
DAY 01: Arrival in Delhi
On arrival at Delhi airport you will receive a warm welcome in traditional Indian style by our representative. Then you will be taken to the hotel. On the way get your first impressions of this exciting city, where tradition and modernity coexist. After resting, you are invited to go sightseeing. Visit the Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk and Rajghat, the Qutb Minar, Humayun’s grave, the Lotus Temple and India Gate. Old Delhi, formerly the capital of Islamic India, is a labyrinth of narrow streets and magnificent mosques. As a contrast, New Delhi is the imperial city created by the British occupying forces, consisting of broad avenues and imposing government buildings.

Day 02: Delhi – Corbett National park
Hapur, Moradabad, Kashipur and Ramnagar to Corbett National Park (6-7 hours), a paradise for adventurers and nature lovers – The park is located on the foothills of the Himalayas, on the banks of the river Ramganga. It is India’s oldest game reserve. On arrival check in at the wildlife resort. After a hearty lunch, experience the first Jeep Safari in Jim Corbett Park. About 50 mammal species, 600 bird species and 25 reptile species have been counted here already. The highlight of the tour is certainly the Indian tiger, leopard and the gharial, the rare fish eating, long-nosed crocodiles.
Back to the resort for dinner and overnight.
Day 03: Safari in Corbett National Park
Very early in the morning, go on safari. Experience the unspoiled nature in the dawn, a wonderful moment. For breakfast, you are back at the resort. The rest of the day is free. In the evening relive a safari in the park. Overnight at the resort.
Day 04: Corbett National Park – Delhi
A morning game drive is on the cards on this day. After lunch drive back to Delhi. On arrival, check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05: Delhi – Jaipur
After a hearty breakfast go on the journey from Delhi to the elegant Jaipur, the pink city. It is the first planned city in India and here you will find beautiful castles and palaces. On arrival in Jaipur, check into hotel. Later, you will experience a tour of the city. Visit the City Palace, Jal Mahal, Hawa Mahal and Jantar Mantar. The delicate pink buildings of the city will charm you.

Day 06: Jaipur – Ranthambore
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel. Later, we invite you to another city tour of Jaipur. It begins with a climb on a decorated elephant to Amber Fort. Enjoy the panorama from the height of Jaipur. A companion in traditional attire with a colorful turban bears testimony to the hospitality of yore. The Amber fort, with its immense proportions impresses you. Next we drive to Ranthambore. On arrival, check in at the resort. The rest of the day is free. Overnight at the resort.
Day 07: Safari in Ranthambore
This day in Ranthambore is completely reserved for your safari. During the morning and evening game drives in National Park and the jeep safari tours, it is always keep your best camera handy. Overnight at the resort.
Day 08: Ranthambore – Bharatpur
Early in the morning start the drive to Bharatpur bird sanctuary. Enjoy the scenery on the way from Rajasthan. The beauty and tranquility will touch your heart and soul. On arrival in Bharatpur, check in at the resort. Refresh and relax before an evening game drive in the Bharatpur Wildlife Park, officially known as Keoladeo Ghana National Park. Overnight at Hotel in Bharatpur.
Day 09: Bird watching in Bharatpur
The Bharatpur bird sanctuary is a paradise for ornithologists. Start your day with a morning game drive. The park is home to over 230 species of birds and migratory birds, including rare and highly endangered birds like the Siberian crane. Morning and evening you can enjoy a rickshaw ride around the bird sanctuary. Overnight at the resort.
Day 10: Bharatpur – Agra
After breakfast, start the journey to Agra. On the way visit the ghost city of Fatehpur Sikri with its famous architectural masterpieces of Mughal kings and a few sites that have been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. On arrival in Agra, check in to hotel. Spend the rest of the day as it suits you best.

Day 11: Agra – Delhi
Start the day with a visit to the breathtaking Taj Mahal, which is surely the most extravagant expression of love ever created – a declaration of love made of white marble and semi-precious stones.
The sight of the Taj Mahal at dawn, when it looks milky pink is surrealistic. After an enjoyable breakfast, visit the Agra Fort and Itmad-ud-Daula tomb. Visit the markets in Agra, where you can buy fine-crafted marble souvenirs at very reasonable prices, especially the marble replicas of the Taj Mahal. At the time of sunset visit the Taj Mahal again and admire this beautiful marble beauty in a slightly yellowish tint. In the evening drive back to Delhi. On arrival check in at hotel. Day 12: Delhi – Khajuraho
Today we start with a transfer to the airport for the flight to Khajuraho. Upon arrival in Khajuraho, you will be welcomed and brought to the hotel. The erotic sculptures of Khajuraho temples are world famous. Embracing couples, dancers, musicians and provocative girls adorn these beautifully crafted buildings. There are masterpieces of Indian art and crafts. Overnight at hotel.
Day 13: Khajuraho – Bandhavgarh
After a hearty breakfast starts the journey to Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve. On the way visit the Panna National Park. On arrival check in at hotel, enjoy a quiet and cozy lunch; dinner awaits you in a safari park. The park is situated in the Vindhya hills and is home to the spotted deer, black Boecken, wild oxen, sloths, sambar, nilgai, barking deer, leopards and tigers. The rich birdlife includes golden orioles, parakeets, hornbills and partridges.
Day 14: Bandhavgarh
Today you can experience again the morning and evening safari in the park. Experience nature up close and enjoy your stay at this very special place.

Day 15: Bandhavgarh – Kanha
After breakfast, the trip leads today to Kanha Tiger Reserve. It is one of the largest parks in the country, with about 22 species of mammals. Most commonly seen are the spotted deer, swamp deer, antelopes, langurs, jackals and chipmunks. Less frequently seen are the tiger, Indian hare, dhole or wild dog and bison or Gaur. Rarely seen is the fox, sloth bear, striped hyena, panther and deer mouse. More than 200 bird species live in the mixed forest in the bamboo thicket. Take an evening stroll or relax at the resort.
Day 16: Kanha
Today you can experience both in the morning and evening, an exciting safari at the National Park. It is advisable always to keep the camera ready. Overnight at Forest Lodge.
Day 17: Kanha – Nagpur – Delhi
This morning there is time for one last safari in the park. We hope that all the animals have shown up by then! After breakfast you leave to Nagpur. Then flight to Delhi. On arrival transfer to hotel. The rest of the day free. Overnight at hotel.
Day 18: Departure from Delhi
Today after breakfast you will be transferred to airport for your onward flight.
